Many first-time home buyers are afraid to purchase. The truth is in most cases it’s better to buy then rent, and in most cases it’s cheaper. Plus, you don’t have a landlord and others to deal with, IT’S YOURS!!!
A majority of my clients are first timers. I call them my Real estate virgins. I absolutely love working with them. If you are interested in buying a place, please give me a call and I can help you understand the ins and outs of buying. I will become your Realtor for life.

Great information for buyers who want to buy a condo or home they can rent
out daily. They see the ‘vacation rentals’…’short term rentals’….’high
daily rental rates’ home and condo owners are getting on vacation rental
websites, like ‘AIRNB’, who are promoting owners to rent out their places
The general public does not know ‘less than 30 day rentals’ are illegal and
banned in many areas in Clark County. In the City of Las Vegas a business
license and ‘Special Use Permit’ is needed, allowing ‘short term rentals’
only in certain areas. Plus, NO HOA allows this. The fines from the HOA’S
are huge. There is a ‘City FEE’ of $500.00 per rental, that needs to be paid
to the ‘City’ each time there is a new ‘short term renter’, with a lease
copy and special form to approve the rental, signed by a city official,
before renting to the new renter.
Violation Fines are from $100.00 to $1000.00 a day apply and jail time. The
HOA has their own violation HIGH fee’s too. This get rich quick, pay off the
mortgage fast idea can really switch badly on any owner.
This is happening nationwide. Check each County and City, before you buy a
place with a ‘short term rental’ intent.

I was born and raised in Iowa, in a tiny town of Solon. At the time I left Solon to move to Las Vegas, there were about 800 people living there. It was great. Farm country and close to a couple big cities one being Iowas City. The home of the Iowa Hawkeye. This weekend Iowa plays Iowa State. Vegas has a club of Iowa Hawkeye Fans. It’s great to have the Hawkeye spirit here in Vegas. GO HAWKS. LOVING IOWA FOOTBALL

What other city can compete with the events, concerts and shows in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is truly the Entertainment Capital of the World. And no matter what you’re looking for, we’ve got just the event. There are Las Vegas shows with dancing, singing, acrobatics and more. There’s comedy or drama. And tons of people watching, (one of my favorite things to do here)
The concerts are out of this world. Talented performers performing night after night. Artists currently in residence include Celine Dion, Motley Crue and deadmau5. On any given weekend, you’re likely to see the marquees lit up with events from today’s hottest live acts.
Blue Man Group, Fran Marino and Jersey Boys are to say nothing of the permanent fixtures that dot the Strip. There are now seven different Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas,
What would Vegas be without magic? Acts like Penn and Teller bring a healthy dose of humor to the mix, with other performers sizzling up their acts with amazing magicians’ assistants.
Show girl shows that are adult only consist of Fantasy and Crazy Girls any my favorite Jubilee. it’s classic and I have a couple friends who perform in the show.
There truly is an event for everyone. Enjoy your weekend. TGIF

If you’re looking for something to do today, perhaps you maybe interested in visiting The Hoover Dam which was once known as Boulder Dam, the Dam located at the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the United states of AZ and NV. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin Roosevelt. Its construction was the result of a massive effort involving thousands of workers, and cost over one hundred lives. The dam was controversially named after President Hoover.
Since about 1900, the Black Canyon and nearby Boulder Canyon had been investigated for their potential to support a dam that would control floods, provide irrigation water and produce Hydroelectric power. In 1928, Congress authorized the project. . Such a large concrete structure had never been built before, and some of the techniques were unproven. The torrid summer weather and the lack of facilities near the site also presented difficulties. Nevertheless, Six Companies turned over the dam to the federal government on March 1, 1936, more than two years ahead of schedule.
Hoover Dam impounds Lake Mead, and is located near Boulder City, NV, a municipality originally constructed for workers on the construction project, about 25 mi (40 km) southeast of LasVegas, NV. The dam’s generators provide power for public and private utilities in Nevada, Arizona, and California. Hoover Dam is a major tourist attraction; nearly a million people tour the dam each year. Be ready to take your time when you visit. It’s a beautiful drive out there, but maybe preety busy. You might want to check out Boulder City also. It’s worth the stop.
