Mega Millions is back in the big-jackpot game, thanks to some recent  changes.

The annuity jackpot for Friday’s drawing is up to $230 million — the biggest  amount in 20 months — while the cash is up to $125 million.

Tuesday’s drawing also produced the game’s first-ever $5 million winner, on  the heels of a $3 million winner on Friday – larger amounts than any secondary  prize in Powerball.

No one matched all the numbers drawn Tuesday night — 27,    44,    59, 74     and 75, with a Mega Ball of    3 — but five tickets matched the first five.

A Texas ticket won $5 million for also having the $1 Megaplier  prize-multiplier option. Since the Megaplier came up 5, the usual $1 million  prize was multiplied by 5. New York had two $1 million winners, and Florida and  Illinois had one apiece.

Friday night, a North Carolina ticket won $3 million.

The maximum secondary prize in Powerball is an automatic $2 million for  matching the first five while having the Power Play prize-boosting option.

The Mega Millions jackpot could grow quickly for several reasons. The odds of  winning were made much tougher in late October — 1 chance in 259 million with a  single ticket — so it’s much more likely to roll over. Powerball’s jackpot is  much smaller — $60 milllion for tonight’s drawing — at twice the prize, $2 per  ticket, so Mega Millions has a big edge at the moment.

Also, the first five numbers now go as high as 75 in Mega Millions, which  means that people playing popular low numbers, like dates, months or children’s  ages, are less likely to hit all their numbers than in the past.

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone.

Just a little FYI, it’s nice and warm here in Las Vegas. Any one out East who’s stranded out there in the cold, I hope you’re making the best of it.  There are a few times a year that I really miss the change of seasons per say.  Then, I remember, Yes, I can drive less than 2 hours away jump and play in the snow. That’s one of the lovely things about Las Vegas, the ocean is 4 hours South to California  and the Snow is a few hours North in Utah.

I wish you the best of everything now and ALWAYS.

Hello there,

Summerlin Las Vegas is a very desired area of the Las Vegas Valley. There are many villages within The Sunny Streets of Summerlin. The Vistas and the Paseos currently are a very hot commodity. They really are very beautiful areas of Summerlin. They are near the Red Rock Canyon with it’s majestic views.

I sold a home to buyers who were looking for about two months. We looked at an average of 40 homes. There were very few homes for sale in Summerlin so we were also looking right outside the Summerlin limits.
Then this amazing home was listed. On day one they had over 60 views. Needless to say my clients thought there was no way they would get it. There were just so many people viewing it, and it was the home that totally took their breath away, as we’re walking out of the house they said “do you think we should put in an offer”  my response:  Let’s do it!
Long story short, I got it for them.

I still to this day smile with joy knowing how happy they are to be in the home that they really wanted.
Honestly, I can say for me as a Realtor, I really do care about my clients. I love helping people find the perfect home for them. It was a pleasure working with them. And, I know they will share their happy experience with their friends.

  • Make sure water heater is properly strapped to code; if required by state law. This applies to homeslocated in California and various other states with seismic zone ratings of 3 or above.
  •  Please make sure all areas of the property (including all units, rooms, garages, outbuildings, guest units,etc.) are accessible to the appraiser for inspection. Please make sure that the appraiser has a clear path around the exterior of the home. The appraiser may need to photograph all of these areas.
